Our home services are designed to help you maintain your independence and enable you to remain in your own home.  You may be finding it difficult to cope because you are convalescencing following a period in hospital, or your condition has worsened. Here at CareMax we can support you to continue doing the things you enjoy, while feeling safe and secure enjoying the independence while remaining comfortably in your own home.

What is included in this service?

We understand how maintaining your routine is important to you in order to continue to lead a dignified lifestyle. Our carers are skilled mixed to assist you with the tasks that you are now finding difficult to do on your own, such as, changing/making your bed and laundry. We can assist you with dusting, vacuuming and other light duties to help you maintain a healthy environment.

Meal preparation can be a task in itself if your physical condition does not allow you to do so, or you are recovering from a health condition. Our carers are trained in Food Hygiene and Nutrition. If you have been unwell it is even more important to encourage a good fluid intake and appetite as this can help enhance general well-being. They can help you plan healthy menus, prepare your planned meals and drinks of your choice, to ensure you enjoy a well balance diet. In addition your carer will assist you in washing up and tidying before leaving.

We offer a handyperson service that will work with you to ensure that your home decoration is maintained according to your choice and wishes, or to carry out maintenance work in your home which could help prevent further deterioration and avoid unnecessary high costs. Perhaps you already have someone coming in, and you just need somebody to supervise home maintenance, or to answer the door to receive deliveries safely.

At times when the weather is nice and warm you may like to sit out outside and enjoy a cup of tea, but are now finding it difficult to maintain your garden, flower and vegetable patch. Our gardening service can assist you with all your gardening issues.
